If you’ve read through our mission statement, it should be evident to you that the Linus Foundation and its members are whole-heartedly devoted to supporting and empowering underprivileged children.  We each share a nostalgic affinity for those formative years of our respective childhoods, and we realize that we have the ability to positively affect kids who aren’t handed the same comfort & aid as we experienced. 

We aim to focus most of our fundraising efforts on youth educational & sporting activities, as knowledge and teamwork are the keys to shaping positive leadership and change. All the money we raise is distributed directly to child development organizations in the communities in which we reside.  We serve as fundraisers – we leverage our networks of friends/coworkers/families to help buttress our cause of helping children. 

When it comes to selecting our beneficiaries, we leave no stone unturned. Because the beneficiary acts as the final facilitator of our mission statement, it is extremely important to us that we thoroughly research, interview, and build strong relationships with the people in these organizations.  We make a point to involve ourselves in their activities, experiencing firsthand how our funds are used to make difference in children’s lives. Seeing this difference is our greatest reward.
